It allows you to tag individual records and then set a filter for all tagged records. Use File > Clear Tags to clear all tags. - records can also be Tagged on the Browse screen. - to realign columns on the Browse screen, select the column title by pressing and holding the left mouse button, and then drag the column to a new position. The new realignment is saved as the default alignment. - in order to avoid year 2000 problems, dates cannot be manually typed. They are either automatically inserted when adding new records if you have specified this in File > Preferences, or entered by clicking the Date icon beside the date field when editing existing records. - the main data entry screen is now divided into two tabs, with all the information except the memo field on one tab, and the memo on a second tab. - you can save and restore Filters. With a Filter active, select File > Save Filter. To restore a saved Filter, select File > Restore Filter. - you can copy the current record to the Windows Clipboard with File > Copy Current Record. This is useful if you want to Paste the current record data into another document. - the Label Design Screen is radically new. You can add lines, boxes, ovals, clip art, counters, etc., in any font and color, with 3D effects, and more. - the Letter utility has been strengthened with a number of additional word-processing features. - the Envelope Design Screen has also been radically improved with features similar to the Label Design Screen. - Duplicate Checking - duplicate matches can now be TAGGED (which means you can then set a filter for tagged records and print a report of possible duplicates) - Check and Repair State and Zip Codes - matches can now be TAGGED. - Convert Case - now does Upper/Lower/Capitalize first letter - not just upper. - Use File > Print > Print Current Record to print the current record's data. - You can now select specific labels to print or skip on a sheet of labels.
